The Translational Research Network in Pediatric Infectious Diseases (RITIP) www.ritip.org, is a network of clinical research networks, currently in process to be endorsed by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, and coordinated by Dr. Federico Martinón-Torres (Hospital Clínico Universitario de Santiago - GENVIP-IDIS) and Dra. Cristina Calvo (Hospital La Paz de Madrid)

GENVIP highly contributes to RITIP through the establishment of a number of national and international clinical networks of paediatric patients with infectious pathologies. This work is allowing the collection of numerous clinical data as well as the creation of an important biobank – both of them key for the development of further scientific research.
